Spell of Sunshine

This week the sun has been out in full force, shining bright and giving gingers like myself some rather questionable burn marks.
So as a little bit of sun celebration, I thought I'd share with you all some little snapshots of my countryside living.

B.E.A.U...tiful sunny dog walks down the back routes are becoming a daily norm.

And my ruddy Labrador has finally developed a taste for anything dead.

Then yesterday I had the most brilliant of BBQ reunions with my old school chums down by the nearby Rutland Water.

We gorged ourselves on Katie's amazing tarts, Jenny's incredible cream egg brownies & a million other cakes, bakes and burgers.

I made a cheeky pavlova too.

We spent the whole afternoon stuffing ourselves silly, nattering away and playing rounders with a horrendously broken ball.

I couldn't think of a better way to be spending my Easter holidays.
What has everyone else been up to in the sun?

  6. Love photos darling! Love the photo of the pup with the bunny. I know some people might be shocked at it, but it's country living and happens all the time. I just think it's such a perfect beautiful photo!

Can't wait to take lots of Easter photos when I get home!
