Cheers to 2015!

Wow.

How on earth can it be the New Year already!? It feels as if it was only yesterday that I was sunbathing in Cannes in August, or packing up all of my bits to start uni again in September...

I've got a rather special post planned for New Years Day, so I thought I'd do a nice summery of the year and resolutions a bit ahead of the game.

2012 for me was the year of independence as I finished school, travelled in the summer & began life as a fresher at university.

2013 was the year of ‘yolo’-ing, (I know, I hate the term too, but what it stands for is rather true.) It was the year of no regrets and being a ‘yes’ person who takes on each and every opportunity possible.

So what of 2014?

Well, this has the been the year of finding my feet. Trying different things, learning even more lessons and truthfully, just being comfortable with myself and my surroundings. It's been filled with socialising with friends, making the most out of my shortening university days, and tons of hard word.
It's been a blast.

Next year I know is going to be the year of ultimate change.

I've got my 21st coming up (with some cracking plans for that under way!), fingers crossed another ski trip, and my graduation (AHHHHH!!!!) in the summer. And all of that is only up to June. Christ.

I know life's going to be seriously turned on it's head in the next 12 months and even though this is ridiculously terrifying, it's also very exciting.

Who knows where I'll be this time next year?!

God knows how many lessons learnt

1 beach holiday in Cannes

6 exams taken & (thankfully passed!)

138 published posts (28 of which are baking)

4 new flat mates

An even more ridiculous number of fancy dress outfits

5 trips to the German Christmas Market

Probably about 100x my body weight in coffee

10 bottles of champagne bought

A ridiculous number of new friends made

& finally... One blog redesign...

This year I want to try to:

- Take all of the upcoming change in my stride

- Not panic about what is (or isn't) set in stone

-Enjoy the last few months of being a student

- Loose the 'Freshers 15' and be as healthy as possible

- Make the most out of every opportunity

- Be more confident in myself

- Be truthful with people about how I feel

And finally... Smile and laugh more!

So, hear's to the New Year!

Does anyone have any resolutions planned? Any things they are looking forward to?
