The Breakfast Club, Battersea

Hello, hello!
Sorry the blog's been a bit quiet lately. In the space of two weeks I managed to land a job in central London, find a flat & am just about to start my fourth week of work. Needless to say, it's been manic! So bear with me. Service will now (hopefully) continue as normal except instead of  being Leeds based, London is now going to be my new backdrop.
Hoo-Bloody-Rah.
And what better way to kick off the new London life than with a breakfast spot I've been wanting to try for yonks?

My friend Kathy just happened to be stopping through London, and so we met at the infamous Breakfast Club in Battersea. Luckily we beat the mad rush and were in our seats in no time.

Perched on our seats on the breakfast bar, Kathy & I sipped on our coffees which checking out the funky decor.

Kathy went for the classic 'Full Monty' (Bacon, sausage, black pudding, eggs, home-style fried potatoes, mushrooms, beans, grilled tomato and toasted multigrain bloomer £10.50)

Whereas I picked their 'Huevos Al Benny', (Poached eggs, chorizo, roast peppers, avocado, fresh chillies, spicy hollandaise £10.50)

The food was great & the coffee smooth & rich. I was really impressed actually because there's nothing worse than going to somewhere you've heard so much about and being disappointed.
But The Breakfast Club? That wasn't the case.
It's quirky, fun, great food & the staff were a pleasure. I guess the only down side is the queue but that's London for you.

And to top off a great morning after gorging ourselves silly, Kathy & I went for a gander round Clapham Common in the sun.

It's safe to say that I'm loving London life.
