It's not you, it's me...

Well.. It's been a while hasn't it?
I'm sorry. It's not you, it's me.
The pressure of a new job, London life, & everything in between meant blogging took a back seat.
Writing posts began to feel like a chore and it's only after taking some time out that I began to realise what I missed about blogging.
You see, I started blogging way back when because I loved the freedom of it. I loved how you could develop your little niche of the internet where you could write what you like, be creative with your content and appreciate the little things that otherwise you'd never consider. Don't get me wrong, I'm so proud of this little space and the time for which it's been going, but sometimes a break is needed. A refresh so to speak.
For years blogging has been my constant, my fascination and my ability to be creative whilst getting on with my life.
The problem is with blogging, is that unless you're in the 'big time', it's a lot of time, effort, and money to sometimes feel like you receive little back. And so, a break is sometimes needed in order to remember why you do the things you do, and to remember why you love the things you love.

And so here I am....
Hopefully, refreshed, ready to blog again, and prepared to ignore everything else and just carry on with what I love. Regardless of how many people read it or if anyone cares, (I hope some people out there do!), I want to go back to square one and do what I feel so many bloggers out there aren't doing. I want to write/photograph what I love instead of what I think others will.

So what's been going on with me?
I've been exploring London as much as I possibly can. My weekends have been crazily busy trying new restaurants, walking round nooks of London I've never seen before, and catching up with friends.

I've been trying some new cuisines...

I've been away travelling with work...

I've been having endless brunches with some of my dearest friends (including Ibbs, Katie & Harriet.)

Maybe doing a little bit of shopping here and there...

And to be honest, trying to keep my head above the water whilst everything around me is changing rapidly.

So bear with me... Stick with me... And thank you to everyone that's kept on supporting me.
I've got some really exciting things in store for this space and I can't wait to see all of your reactions towards it!

But what about you? Has anyone been up to anything fun? Any big changes? Anything planned?
I feel like I have a lot to catch up on, so please do fill me in!
