Blixen, Spitalfields

Ahh brunch.
Easily my favourite meal by a mile.
Who doesn't love lazy weekend lie ins and indulgent food that you can wolf down, guilt free, because its replacing two meals?
I'm beginning to use brunch as an excuse to explore London and the list of places to visit is constantly growing, (along with the bills...)

I went along with my friend Harriet and the two if us snuggled into our cosy seats in the garden room.

Catching up on the mentalness of the first week back at work after Christmas, we sipped away on our drinks and soaked up the atmosphere in amongst the jungle.

And for food?
Harriet went for their pancakes with blueberries and whipped mascarpone.

With lashings of maple syrup, of course.

And I chose their house hot-smoked trout, avocado & poached eggs on toast.

The food was impeccable, the service was great, and the atmosphere is memorable.
For central London too, the prices were really affordable. (£6 for pancakes & £8.50 for mine) Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with Blixen and can't recommend it enough.
If you fancy a relaxing brunch in a buzzing location, definitely head on over to Blixen.

Anyone got any other go-to brunch spots? Or have a favourite brunch option?
