Granger & Co Brunch, Kings X

They wrote about their lives, their food, and their travelling adventures.
They met on a rather weird creation called 'Social Media'; and the rest is history.

Three years on and these girls are still friends. Catching up every now and again, they still remain in contact and try to meet up as often as possible. (One of the many factors of blogging which I love.)

Last weekend was the first date with all three of us in a while, and we eagerly bounded up to one of my favourite spots in London, Granger & Co.
They have branches in Clerkenwell, Kings Cross & Notting Hill; all inspired & run by the famous Aussie chef, Bill Granger.

With rumbling bellies, we chatted away about everything and anything in our lives over coffee & tea...
Ibbs' army life, my new start in London, & Katie's engagement to Ben (AHH!); a lot has happened within three years.

Both Ibbs (above) and Katie (below)... Who both claim they aren't photogenic?! Ha.

Ibbs' picked the fresh Aussie - tea smoked salmon, poached eggs, greens, avocado & cherry tomatoes.

Whereas Katie chose Bills' sweetcorn fritters with roasted tomatoes and bacon.

And I couldn't resist their scrambled eggs on sourdough toast with a side of bacon.
I swear to God, these are THE best scrambled eggs I've ever had in my life. Ever.
I would trek 100 miles for these bad boys, if you haven't tried them yet.... Do!

As always, it was an absolute pleasure to catch up with these ladies.
Check out Ibbs' Twitter/Instagram, (she's always up to cool things); and likewise check out Katie & her fiancee Ben's blogs.

If you haven't been over to Granger & Co; it's without a doubt one for the list.
Amazing quality food which packs a flavour & is cooked to perfection; it's one of my ultimate brunch favourites.
(If you do, make sure you also try their banana ricotta hotcakes with honeycomb butter- another firm favourite for those with a sweet tooth!)
