Bombay Sapphire Rooftop Retreat, Harvey Nichols

One thing that I'm famous for amongst my friends, is my love of gin.
Oh sweet, sweet gin...
Understandably, I was invited along to Bombay Sapphire's new rooftop retreat at Harvey Nicols in Knightsbridge, I leapt at the opportunity.
What better way to cure the Monday blues than with my favourite tipple?
(And then Game of Thrones as soon as I got home...)

Climbing my way up to the fifth floor of Harvey Nics, I found our party out on the terrace (regardless of the storm blowing wild outside).

The Bombay Sapphire Rooftop Retreat at Harvey Nicols is open between the 13th April- 11th July; it's offering a series of bespoke master classes that encourage guests to create their ultimate gin & tonic by using ingredients from Harvey Nicols' Foodmarket.

Kick starting our evening with a couple of G&T's & some nibbles, our group got talking & introducing each other as we over looked Knightsbridge.

Eventually the weather got the better of us and we headed inside from the rain.
Settled in the warmth, Bombay's brand ambassador, Renaud de Bosredon, began the masterclass.

Armed & ready, I set about making my perfect gin & tonic...

A brimming double shot of gin.

Buckets of ice & Fever Tree tonic.

And a spritz of lime.

Nailed it!

But we weren't stopping there... We'd perfected the classic G&T, but it was time to get adventurous.
Armed with a £20 voucher for Harvey Nichol's Foodmarket, we set off to find ingredients to spice up our drinks.

I plumped for some peach & prosecco jam (utterly amazing on toast- FYI), and some tea rose buds.

(I just had to snap Victoria's San Pelleprino & bon bons combination- a brilliant idea!)

The beautiful Victoria & Milly themselves, getting stuck in!

Taking a huge tablespoon of jam, I broke it up with a spoon before adding handfuls of ice.

Lastly, a hefty shot of gin, a spritz of peach juice, and tonic water.
I'd have never have thought to put jam in a G&T before in my life, but blooming heck, it worked beautifully!

Without a doubt, the award for the most beautiful gin had to go to Nathan...
A macaroon decorated gin... Amazing.

Bombay Sapphire's Rooftop Retreat at Harvey Nicols is open until the 11th July. I can't recommend their master classes' enough if you're a lover of gin.
Head on over to their terrace, overlooking stunning Knightsbridge, and put your feet up. It's 5 O'Clock somewhere after all!

(A huge thank you to both APRComunications & Bombay Sapphire for the invite & for hosting us. It was a wonderful evening!)
